Reginae Carter is teaming up with Rihanna for the latter’s growing lingerie brand. The daughter of rapper Lil Wayne has been tapped as a new brand ambassador for the singer’s Savage x Fenty lingerie line.
The 21-year-old social media personality announced her new gig on Instagram on Wednesday, January 29. Giving a little tease of what’s coming next with their collaboration, the model posted sexy pictures of her rocking a semi-sheer pink lace bodysuit with a pink curtain as the background.
“This just the intro , let me not get ahead of myself,” she captioned one of her posts, adding the hashtag #savagexambassador. In another image, she accessorized with a pair of sunglasses and cheekily wrote below it, “Oh ok.”
Besides Reginae, a number of celebrities have modeled Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty collection. They included singer Normani Kordei, Tinashe and Dreeze. Rihanna herself has often shared on her Instagram page pictures of her rocking Savage x Fenty lingerie.
Reginae is Lil Wayne’s first child, who was born on November 29, 1998 when he was 16, to his high school sweetheart Toya Johnson. She has starred on reality TV series “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle” and “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta”. While she’s not pursuing a career in music, she has released a song on her father’s latest album “Tha Carter V”.
Reginae also co-wrote a book, “Paparazzi Princesses”, with Brian Williams and Karyn Langhorne Folan. It follows the lives of Kayla Jones and Promise Walker, the daughters of two legends of rap music.
She often posts on her social media account photos of her rocking various outfits. Her followers have admired her styles and her figure, which she recently revealed was the result of “workout band and good ole hard work.”
