Ariana Grande, Normani, and Nicki Minaj have teamed up for the musical collaboration of our dreams. Three of music’s biggest names are behind the latest single from the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack, and as expected, their work is nothing short of epic.
Following reported rumors of a possible collab, the trio released “Bad to You,” the latest single from an already stacked movie soundtrack. As previously reported, the film, starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska, comes with a soundtrack of 11 original songs, and others including Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey are among the featured performers. The entire album was released today (November 1) with the movie to follow on November 13.
As for “Bad to You,” the video features lyrics from the song alongside images from the film. Sharing the clip on Twitter, Normani accompanied the post with the perfect amount of angel emojis. Ariana also gave a nod to the song, and the entire soundtrack, tweeting, “It’s been an honor co-producing this with u @Savan_Kotecha, ilya, max. thank you for including me @ElizabethBanks. Enjoy and let us know what you think.”
You can decide for yourself how you feel about the track below, but many on social media have already stared chiming in with praise. “THE SOUNDTRACK IS SO GOOD,” one person tweeted. “I’m obsessed w bad to you.” Others agreed, writing, “normani’s voice on the first verse of bad to you…..yup there’s really nothing better i’m obsessed” and “Normani ATE, Ariana DID THE DAMN THING, and Nicki SERVED with that verse. Bad To You should have been the lead single for this soundtrack… I said what I said.”
