Well… that’s one way for the Nicki Minaj Cardi B feud to come to an end.
Minaj took to social media Thursday and revealed to her fans that she would be retiring to start a family.
I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, ❌ in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. ✅ Love you for LIFE 😘♥️🦄— Mrs. Petty (@NICKIMINAJ) September 5, 2019
The 36-year-old rapper changed her Twitter display name from “Ms. Minaj” to ” Mrs. Petty,” in August to reflect the last name of the 41-year-old Queens native and music executive Kenneth Perry that she had been dating and according to some reports has already married.
But Minaj only confirmed earlier this summer on her Beats1 radio show, “Queen Radio,” that she got a marriage license with Petty.
In recent months Minaj has been in the news more for an ongoing beef with fellow rap superstar Cardi B. The two came to blows at a New York Fashion Week party last year.
Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj, is a Trinidadian-born American who has produced four studio albums in the last decade. She’s been nominated for 10 Grammy awards since 2010, including a nomination for Best Rap Album for Pink Friday in 2011
