Michael Phelps may be a fish out of water but he looked perfectly comfortable with Megan Rossee on his arm tonight in London.

The newly retired Olympian and his model girlfriend made their red-carpet debut together at a Speedo event, where they didn't do much press but Rossee said she was doing well in the face of a blitz of publicity after being revealed as Phelps' main squeeze.

The 27-year-old swimmer has kept an extremely low romantic profile over the years, but what better time to bust out one's stunning girlfriend than after winning 22 career Olympic medals to assure one's self of a seemingly untouchable place in the history books?

What to look forward to this week at the Olympics

Sure beats going to Disneyland.

"Megan and Michael have been taking things slow leading up to the Olympics, but they are excited to spend more time together outside of his training," says a source very close to the couple of five months, adding, "Megan is a beautiful person, inside and out."
