Elephant Man To Give Away $50,000 At Reggae Sumfest

Dancehall’s energy god will be gracing this year’s Reggae Sumfest stage on dancehall night, July 19 at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex, in Montego Bay.

Not only will the Ele be bringing his usual high energy performance to the set, but also one of his lucky fans will walk away with $50,000.

“Mi a give away $50,000 to anybody that can guess what colour hairstyle mi a wear go Sumfest. Anybody whe guess the hair colour wha me a go wear pon the stage a go get a 50 grand! Serious ting,” Elephant Man said.

Elephant Man, who has performed at Sumfest every year since 1998, says he will be performing a 20-minute set which will include his biggest hits.

“Mi a go do a 20-minute set and all a di fan dem a go get a surprise. Mi cyaah tell unnuh what the surprise is right now but trus mi, mi a go shell it dung. Everybody gonna wanna know what the surprise is, but me nah give it away yet. I’m gonna be performing a lot of hits from the old catalogue to the new tunes,” Ele said.

Reggae Sumfest 2012 kicks off on July 15th and climaxes on July 21st. International R&B stars Trey Songz and R. Kelly are scheduled for the event.
