Craig Returns To Bond

Daniel Craig confirms that he will reprise his role as James Bond in the upcoming "Bond 25". The 50-year-old actor shared the news in an interview with AP Entertainment this week at the Opportunity Network's charity auction.

"Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle was reportedly going to direct the movie. However, Daniel refused to talk about the director's involvement in MGM and Eon Production's movie. He said, "We'll see, we'll see."

Daniel's appearance at the charity auction was to sell his personal Aston Martin. It's an iconic race car which appeared in James Bond films such as "Goldfinger" and "Skyfall". He revealed that the proceeds from the sale would be donated to the Opportunity Network, which supports underprivileged students in their quest for higher education. When asked how much he wished the car would make, Daniel said, "As much as possible."

Back to "Bond 25", there are several other actors who are reportedly returning for the movie. Naomie Harris is rumored to reprise her role as Eve Moneypenny. Meanwhile, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear are expected to return as Q and Tanner, respectively.

After writing scripts for other James Bond movies, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are expected to be back to pen the script for the 25th installment of the franchise. However, "Trainspotting" scribe John Hodge is reportedly writing a separate screenplay for the movie.

The news of two separates scripts for the movie was confirmed by Danny to Metro. He said, "It might not be so straightforward, because there appears to be two scripts being written at the same time." He also admitted that he was working with John to put their idea into a script. He further shared his thought on writing a script for the upcoming movie, saying, "I think it's really hard to get involved in something that's so established. It's very hard to express yourself within that. You have to be very strong and faithful to all the films that have come before."

The movie, which will begin the production at the end of the year, is due out on November 8, 2019 in the United States
